Terms of service

The rules for buying and using SaiyanPrints files.

Last updated

1. What you buy

Raymond Thurman, doing business as SaiyanPrints (“SaiyanPrints”, “we”) sells digital 3D-print files (for example STL, 3MF and STEP). You are buying a license to use a file, not a physical product and not the copyright. What you may do with a file is set by the license you choose at checkout; see Licenses.

2. Orders and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout. Some designs are free or pay what you want, including $0.

3. Delivery

After payment you get a download page and an email with secure links. Each purchased design includes 3 downloads over 30 days. Links are personal; don't share them. If your links expire, contact us and we'll reissue them.

4. All sales final

Because files are delivered instantly, all sales are final. See the refund policy for the few cases where we will refund.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don't share, resell, re-upload or redistribute files, in original or modified form.
  • Don't try to bypass download limits or access files you haven't bought.
  • Don't use the site in a way that disrupts it for others.

If we find a license or acceptable-use violation, we may revoke download access. Where a payment is reversed (refund or chargeback), the license for that order ends.

6. Intellectual property

Most designs are original; some are recreations or fan pieces inspired by third-party franchises, whose names and characters belong to their owners. The original designs, and all renders, text and branding on this site, belong to Raymond Thurman, doing business as SaiyanPrints. SaiyanPrints is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Toei Animation, Shueisha or Nintendo. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Printing results

We test every design, but printers, materials and settings vary. Files are provided as is, and we can't guarantee a particular print result. Printed parts are not toys for young children and aren't certified for safety-critical, food-contact or load-bearing use.Printed parts can be small and may be a choking hazard; keep them away from young children and pets.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you buy applies to that order, and the license you bought under (name and version) is shown in your order email, with a link to its terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't remove consumer protection rights you have where you live.
