About this design
Version 2 of my supplement keychain, redesigned to be leak resistant. Carry a scoop of pre-workout or creatine to the gym on your keys.
What's new in v2
- No logo, so the design is clean.
- Leak-resistant seals: both caps close onto a 45 degree crush-ring lip that presses 0.15mm into the body for a tight seal.
- Threaded main cap: 0.70mm thread engagement with 0.34mm flank clearance.
- Threaded neck cap: 0.60mm engagement with 0.32mm clearance, on the small pour neck.
- Keyring tab built into the main cap.
- Round-profile threads for smooth turning.
- Prints without supports.
Capacity
- About 18 cm3 inside, which holds roughly 11 to 13g of pre-workout or about 13.5g of creatine (depends on the powder).
Size (from CAD)
- Body: 36.4mm diameter, 42.4mm tall
- Main cap: 41mm diameter, with the keyring tab sticking out to the side
- Assembled height: about 46.7mm
Parts and approximate PETG mass (100% solid from CAD at 1.27 g/cm3; actual use depends on your slicer settings)
- Body: 8.93g
- Main cap with keyring tab: 6.56g
- Neck cap: 2.43g
Optional: for extra sealing, you can add a thin TPU gasket under the main cap. It's not included as a model file.

Personal use only.
Print notes
- Material: PETG for all three parts - Layer height: 0.12 to 0.16mm. Fine layers help the threads and the seal lips. - Walls: 3 to 4 perimeters (helps the seal and the thread strength) - Infill: 20 to 30% - Supports: none - Orientation: as exported (body upright, each cap printed flat on its top face). Check the orientation in the slicer. - Note: because the threads have a round profile, there's a small overhang (about 1.2mm) at each thread root. That's normally fine without supports, but use good part cooling. - Elephant's foot compensation on, so the seal lips and threads aren't swollen at the first layer. - Fit: if the caps are tight, lower the flow slightly or run a die over the threads. Don't sand the 45 degree seal lip.
