About this design
A construction-worker set: hard hat, ribbed safety vest, elbow and knee pads and a tool belt, plus a toy hammer, a spanner and a spare toolbox. Every piece snaps or slides onto the figure without glue, and all of it prints without supports. The kit includes a fit-test coupon and the grip-hole hand needed to hold the accessories.
Requires the base figure, sold separately: Poseable 6 Inch Action Figure. This kit does not include the figure.
Parts (10 files, STL and 3MF for each):
- Hard hat x1
- Safety vest x1
- Elbow pad x2
- Knee pad x2
- Tool belt x1
- Toy hammer (hand grip) x1
- Toy spanner (hand grip) x1
- Toolbox (hand grip, spare 3rd accessory) x1
- Fit-test coupon (print first) x1
- Grip-hole hand (replaces the figure's hand so it can hold accessories) x1-2
Assembly and fit:
- Print the coupon first. It carries test clips in several tightness steps. Snap each onto the matching limb and note which holds firmly without whitening the plastic. If they are all loose or all tight, adjust your printer's XY compensation before printing the kit.
- Clips snap sideways onto the limbs. The chest piece drops over the shoulders, the belt slides over the hips, and back items slide down onto the rail on the back of the chest piece.
- Swap the figure's hand for fig_hand_v3 to hold accessories. Each kit is posed with one accessory in each hand; any extra is a spare.
- Joint range with armour on: head tilt is limited to about 33° (hard hat meets the vest beyond that). Arms swing back and inward to about 15° before touching the belt. With an accessory in hand, the item can touch the thigh when the arm hangs straight and the waist, elbow or hip bends. Turn the hand or lift the arm slightly. All other joints keep the base figure's full range.
- Weapons and tools are blunt toy props with rounded tips.
Warning: small parts, choking hazard. Not for children under 3. Adult supervision recommended.
Private use only.
